    Hi Jon,
Your article is very illuminating as really today anyone who wants to learn how to play the piano can easily do it. It’s not like the old days, before the age of the Internet and personal computers where you had to go out and find a private teacher, and pay $$ for lessons.

My dad now deceased was a classically trained pianist. Even before I now can remember he started giving me lessons as a toddler. This was back in the late 1950’s. My mom before she passed gave me a picture of myself taken when I was not even 2 years old sitting on an padded stool in front of a piano that still is in my family, (over at my sister’s house) now over 50+ years later.

With the computer software available today and along with that a person showing a keen willingness to put in the work, (practicing) in a sense you can teach yourself how to play the instrument.

Thank you for putting this information out to any of your readers who truly would have interest in learning how to play the piano.

      Hi Jeff,

Nice sentiment, thanks for your comments, appreciated.

Hooefully I’ll get more people on the stools for pictures to show when they get older 🙂
